Genel olarak nikel, kobalt ve demir-nikel esasl\u0131 olmak \u00fczere \u00fc\u00e7 ana grup alt\u0131nda s\u0131n\u0131fland\u0131r\u0131l\u0131rlar. S\u0131cakl\u0131\u011f\u0131n g\u00f6rece d\u00fc\u015f\u00fck (500-700\u00a0<sup>0<\/sup>C), mekanik mukavemet isterlerinin y\u00fcksek oldu\u011fu durumlarda demir-nikel esasl\u0131 s\u00fcperala\u015f\u0131mlar kullan\u0131lmaktad\u0131r. S\u0131cakl\u0131\u011f\u0131n ve mekanik isterlerin y\u00fcksek seviyede oldu\u011fu durumlarda ise nikel esasl\u0131 s\u00fcperala\u015f\u0131mlar kullan\u0131lmaktad\u0131r. Rene 80, Hastelloy X, CMSX4 gibi nikel esasl\u0131 s\u00fcperala\u015f\u0131mlar t\u00fcrbin disk (turbine disc) ve hareketli kanat\u00e7\u0131klar\u0131 (turbine blades), yanma odalar\u0131 (combustion chamber) gibi en zorlu ko\u015fullar alt\u0131nda g\u00f6rev al\u0131rlar.<\/p>\n<p>Asl\u0131nda s\u00fcperala\u015f\u0131mlar\u0131n oda s\u0131cakl\u0131\u011f\u0131ndaki mekanik \u00f6zellikleri, yayg\u0131n olarak kullan\u0131lan ve ekonomik olarak daha uygun olan d\u00fc\u015f\u00fck ala\u015f\u0131ml\u0131 yap\u0131sal \u00e7eliklerden \u00e7ok da farkl\u0131 de\u011fildir. Bununla birlikte, 500 \u2013 550\u00a0<sup>0<\/sup>C s\u0131cakl\u0131klara \u00e7\u0131k\u0131ld\u0131\u011f\u0131nda, d\u00fc\u015f\u00fck ala\u015f\u0131ml\u0131 \u00e7eliklerin akma mukavemeti yakla\u015f\u0131k yar\u0131s\u0131na inerken, s\u00fcperala\u015f\u0131mlar tipik olarak 950\u00a0<sup>0<\/sup>C s\u00fcrekli \u00e7al\u0131\u015fma s\u0131cakl\u0131\u011f\u0131 alt\u0131nda akma mukavemetlerinin %80 \u2018ini koruyabilmektedirler. Korozyon direnci a\u00e7\u0131s\u0131ndan ise s\u0131f\u0131r\u0131n \u00e7ok alt\u0131ndaki d\u00fc\u015f\u00fck s\u0131cakl\u0131klardan (kyrojenik ortamlar) 1100\u00a0<sup>0<\/sup>C \u2018yi bulan \u00e7ok geni\u015f bir s\u0131cakl\u0131k aral\u0131\u011f\u0131nda mekanik \u00f6zelliklerini korumakla birlikte d\u00fc\u015f\u00fcn\u00fcld\u00fc\u011f\u00fcnde rakipsizdirler. Y\u00fcksek korozyon direnci nedeniyle deniz \u00fcst\u00fcnde konumlanan petrol, do\u011falgaz platformlar\u0131, n\u00fckleer santraller gibi \u00e7e\u015fitli end\u00fcstri dallar\u0131nda kullan\u0131lmakla birlikte, gaz t\u00fcrbinleri s\u00fcperala\u015f\u0131m kullan\u0131m\u0131n\u0131n %75\u2019ini kapsamaktad\u0131r (1).<\/p>\n<p>Gaz t\u00fcrbinlerinde verim, t\u00fcrbin s\u0131cakl\u0131\u011f\u0131 ile do\u011frudan ili\u015fkilidir. Y\u00fcksek t\u00fcrbin s\u0131cakl\u0131\u011f\u0131, y\u00fcksek verim anlam\u0131na gelmektedir. T\u00fcrbin veriminin y\u00fckselmesi ise, daha uzun menzil, daha d\u00fc\u015f\u00fck yak\u0131t t\u00fcketimi, daha d\u00fc\u015f\u00fck emisyon ve karbon ayak izine olanak sa\u011flamaktad\u0131r. Bu nedenle s\u00fcperala\u015f\u0131mlar\u0131n geli\u015fimi ilk ortaya \u00e7\u0131kt\u0131klar\u0131 1910\u2019lardan beri s\u00fcrekli olarak daha y\u00fcksek \u00e7al\u0131\u015fma s\u0131cakl\u0131klar\u0131na dayan\u0131kl\u0131 hale getirilmesi y\u00f6n\u00fcnde olmu\u015ftur. S\u00fcperala\u015f\u0131mlar, d\u00f6k\u00fcm, d\u00f6vme, tala\u015fl\u0131 imalat, toz metal\u00fcrjisi ve son olarak eklemeli imalat teknikleri ile \u00fcretilmektedirler. \u00dcretim tekniklerindeki geli\u015fmeler, ala\u015f\u0131m \u00fcretiminde yeni elementlerin kullan\u0131m\u0131, par\u00e7alar \u00fczerine uygulanan genellikle seramik esasl\u0131 koruyucu kaplamalar, par\u00e7alar\u0131n \u00e7al\u0131\u015fma ko\u015fullar\u0131 alt\u0131nda so\u011futulmas\u0131na y\u00f6nelik tasar\u0131m mimarilerinin geli\u015ftirilmesi \u00fczerine yap\u0131lan \u00e7al\u0131\u015fmalar daha \u00fcst\u00fcn \u00f6zelliklere sahip ala\u015f\u0131mlar\u0131n \u00f6n\u00fcn\u00fc a\u00e7m\u0131\u015ft\u0131r (1).<\/p>\n<p>\u00dcretim teknikleri aras\u0131nda yer alan d\u00f6k\u00fcm tekni\u011fi ile, kullan\u0131lacak par\u00e7alar direk olarak \u00fcretilmekte ya da di\u011fer tekniklerin ihtiya\u00e7 duydu\u011fu yar\u0131 mamul \u00fcretimi ger\u00e7ekle\u015fmektedir. Metalik malzemeler kat\u0131la\u015f\u0131rken, malzemeyi olu\u015fturan atomlar belirli bir d\u00fczende dizilerek kristal yap\u0131lar\u0131 meydana getirirler. Kat\u0131la\u015fma tamamland\u0131\u011f\u0131nda, kat\u0131la\u015fma ko\u015fullar\u0131na da ba\u011fl\u0131 olarak bu kristallerin milyonlarcas\u0131 bir araya gelerek \u00e7ok kristalli yap\u0131da (poly crystal) par\u00e7ay\u0131 meydana getirmi\u015f olurlar. Y\u00fcksek s\u0131cakl\u0131klarda kristal tane s\u0131n\u0131rlar\u0131n\u0131n korozyon ve mekanik mukavemeti, tane i\u00e7lerinden daha d\u00fc\u015f\u00fckt\u00fcr. Bu durum s\u00fcperala\u015f\u0131mlar\u0131n \u00e7al\u0131\u015fma s\u0131cakl\u0131\u011f\u0131n\u0131 ve bu s\u0131cakl\u0131k alt\u0131ndaki mekanik y\u00fcklere ve korozif atmosfere kar\u015f\u0131 olan direncini d\u00fc\u015f\u00fcrerek par\u00e7an\u0131n \u00e7al\u0131\u015fma kapasitesini s\u0131n\u0131rlamaktad\u0131r. Bu nedenle 1970\u2019lerden itibaren \u00f6ncelikli olarak tane s\u0131n\u0131rlar\u0131n\u0131n gelen mekanik y\u00fck\u00fcn y\u00f6n\u00fcne g\u00f6re optimize edildi\u011fi, y\u00f6nlendirilmi\u015f kat\u0131la\u015fma (directional solidification) tekni\u011fi geli\u015ftirilmi\u015ftir. Bu teknik sayesinde tane boyutlar\u0131 belirli bir eksende daha uzun yap\u0131da \u00fcretilmektedir. Se\u00e7ilen do\u011frultu kristalografik d\u00fczlemlerin en y\u00fcksek mukavemet de\u011ferine g\u00f6re se\u00e7ilmekte, y\u00fck do\u011frultusuna dik tane s\u0131n\u0131r oran\u0131 minimize edilmektedir. Hemen bu tekni\u011fin geli\u015ftirildi\u011fi y\u0131llarda, tane s\u0131n\u0131rlar\u0131n\u0131 tamamen ortadan kald\u0131rma fikri geli\u015ftirilmi\u015f ve ara\u015ft\u0131rmalar bu y\u00f6nde yo\u011funla\u015fm\u0131\u015ft\u0131r (2). Esasen tek kristal (single crystal) malzeme \u00fcretimi y\u00f6nlendirilmi\u015f kat\u0131la\u015fma tekni\u011finden t\u00fcretilmi\u015f olup, b\u00fcy\u00fck oranda benzerlik g\u00f6stermektedir. Aradaki temel farkl\u0131l\u0131k, so\u011futma blo\u011fundan (chill block) y\u00f6nl\u00fc olarak kat\u0131la\u015fmaya ba\u015flayan tanelerin biri hari\u00e7 hepsinin elimine edildi\u011fi bir tane se\u00e7icinin (grain selector) sisteme ilave edilmesidir. \u015eekil 1\u2019de t\u00fcrbin palesi imalinde kullan\u0131lan, pig tail ad\u0131 da verilen tane se\u00e7ici k\u0131s\u0131m g\u00f6r\u00fclmektedir (3). Bunun i\u00e7in T\u00dcB\u0130TAK MAM Malzeme Enstit\u00fcs\u00fc \u201cY\u00fcksek S\u0131cakl\u0131k Malzemeleri, Ara\u015ft\u0131rma Geli\u015ftirme ve Onar\u0131m M\u00fckemmeliyet Merkezi\u2019nde\u201d \u201c\u00fc\u00e7l\u00fc ergitme\u201d alt yap\u0131s\u0131 kurulmu\u015f ve bug\u00fcn ostenitik paslanmaz \u00e7elik ve Inconel 718 ala\u015f\u0131m\u0131 \u00fcretilebilmektedir (7). Motor tasar\u0131m\u0131 ve geli\u015ftirmesinde rol alan teknik insanlar teknolojinin ve \u00fcretim s\u00fcre\u00e7lerinin zorluklar\u0131n\u0131n fark\u0131nda olarak bu kritik ad\u0131m\u0131 att\u0131lar ve d\u0131\u015fa ba\u011f\u0131ml\u0131l\u0131\u011f\u0131 yok etmeyi hedeflediler.
